Boomwar io is a multiplayer tower defense game where players collect resources, build fortifications and fight over territory. You can build bridges, set up turrets and even launch drones.

How to play

Building a decent defense takes more than stacking walls everywhere. Dirt is used for bridges, stone for perimeter walls, while copper lets you build turrets and a gun drone launcher. A copper turret costs 500 copper, so gathering materials is a big part of Boomwar io. Aluminite is needed for more advanced structures, including the Boom Drone Airfield.

The game has some similarities to Bloble io, although you control a character instead of commanding everything from above. Grenades, a plasma blaster and artillery flares give you several ways to deal with opponents. If you prefer defending a base against waves, Yorg io is another option.

Tips

• Collect 500 copper to afford a Copper Turret
• Use stone to build perimeter walls around important structures
• Rotate walls before placing them to fit your layout
