BowDown io is a multiplayer archery FPS with real projectile physics, open deathmatch arenas and no crosshair. Players and adaptive bots keep the match moving.

How to play

Arrows have gravity and drag, so aiming straight at someone works mostly at short range. A fuller draw sends the arrow faster and flatter. At distance you need to aim higher and lead moving targets. A full-draw critical hit can be a one-shot, while body hits take three.

Staying on a streak changes the match quite a bit. Rewards unlock at 3, 6, 10, 15 and 30 consecutive eliminations, starting with a UAV and moving through stronger support. BowDown io also has ten maps and fourteen weather setups. Weather is not just decoration: it changes how well bots can spot you.

XP gives levels and skill points for strength, agility, dexterity and constitution. Every level also brings a loot crate, while achievements and 103 cosmetic items give you something to grind besides the scoreboard.

• Lead moving targets instead of aiming at their current position

• Bandage when you have enough space instead of staying in a bad fight
