ThroneBound io is a browser RTS where you develop villages, recruit soldiers and conquer territory in real time. The winner is whoever controls 75% of the villages. Even the small grey barbarian settlements count, so don't ignore them.

How to play

Everything starts with one village and a few buildings. Upgrade your Resource Camp first. It produces the resources needed for both construction and soldiers, with all your villages sharing the same supply. There are four buildings in ThroneBound io: Resource Camp for income, Farm for population capacity, Barracks for training soldiers and Wall for defense. Each can reach level 10, and upgrades take between 2 and 30 seconds.

Once you have Barracks, start recruiting soldiers. Your Farm determines how many the village can support. There's also a militia that stays home to defend the settlement, so don't confuse those guards with your regular army. To move your troops, send a garrison out as a Banner Knight. Right-click to move, attack or combine forces, and press S to split a group.

Capturing villages takes a little patience. First your soldiers defeat the enemy garrison, then the militia. Only after both are gone does the village change hands. The grey barbarian villages are the easiest early targets, though rushing them with barely any troops is still a pretty bad plan.

Tips

• Build Barracks before Walls, since Walls require them
• Upgrade Farms when you need room for more soldiers
• Start expanding through grey villages before challenging stronger opponents
