Rise of Rex is a real-time strategy game about controlling units, gathering resources, building and sending your army where it is needed. Pretty classic RTS stuff, just without ten menus blocking the screen.

How to play

Most things in Rise of Rex are handled directly on the map. Select one unit with a left click or drag a box around a whole group, then use right click to move, gather, build or attack an enemy. Managing a bigger army gets easier once you use Shift: Shift+click selects 5 nearby units, while Shift with a train button or its hotkey queues 5 units at once. That saves a lot of pointless clicking when things get busy.

• Drag a selection box when several units are standing together
• Use Shift+click to grab 5 nearby units quickly
• Hold Shift while training to queue 5 units at once
