BoomBros io is a real-time multiplayer action arcade for 2–8 players on a compact grid arena. If Bomberman looks familiar, you will understand the basics in about ten seconds, though matches get messy pretty fast.

How to play

In BoomBros io you move between crates, drop bombs and clear space while grabbing the powerups left behind. Extra bombs let you control more lanes, flames increase range and shoes stack movement speed. The fun part starts with the less basic stuff: boots kick bombs across the floor, while gloves let you pick up the bomb in front of you and throw it over walls. A Bubble Shield can absorb one chain explosion. Mega Bomb changes your first placed bomb into a fixed 3x3 blast that also reaches diagonally, so hiding behind an ordinary wall does not help. There is even a Crate Costume: stand still and opponents see a normal crate instead of your nametag. Very sneaky, until you move.

Tips

• Do not wait in the same row or column as your own bomb
• Clear crates early to get more powerups before opponents take them
• Remember that fire stays on the floor briefly after the blast
• A kicked bomb keeps sliding until something stops it
